The Friends of Jaclyn Foundation
Five-time defending national champion Northwestern Wildcats will be visiting the White House again as they finished an undefeated season for their fifth straight NCAA ladies lacrosse championship.
This story of how the Wildcats adopted Jaclyn Murphy while she was experiencing daily challenges of a pediatric brain tumor is unbelievably inspiring. This movie-like story has been a phenomenal experience for all who have met Jaclyn and have lived her story. The Jaclyn Murphy Foundation is our corporate charity and we’d encourage all to review the first page of her website for a grounding experience and appreciation of human caring. Her Father, Denis Murphy, has coordinated sourcing of children with pediatric brain tumors for over 80 universities. This foundation grew out of his daughters real life experience with the Northwestern Wildcats ladies lacrosse team. All proceeds benefit the Friends of Jaclyn Foundation, a charitable organization, created and dedicating itself to raising public awareness regarding pediatric brain tumors. Funds are used to improve the quality of life for children who are diagnosed with pediatric brain cancer.
